There are many misconceptions about being vegan, namely, that all I eat is vegetables and it’s expensive to keep up a vegan diet. One of the most common questions I get asked is: ‘how can you be vegan at university?’

Therefore, the aim of this blog is to document my journey as I develop my ability as a vegan chef/ baker while debunking the idea that vegan food is boring (and super healthy!) I’ll be posting a variety of recipes from simple everyday meals to the best vegan baking as well as general advice on a vegan lifestyle at university.

As a university student I obviously don’t have the resources to take super impressive photos or use expensive fancy food, so please enjoy the real life reflection of what I actually eat and how my food actually looks in a student accommodation kitchen.
